Hello! My name is Becky and I am the Sales and Events Manager at The Parkmore Hotel in Eaglescliffe. I’ve lived in Yarm for nearly 6 years with my now husband – we love dogs so hopefully will be getting a Samoyed, Newfoundland or anything big and fluffy soon! I love planning events and weddings at work and recently got to put my skills to use after getting married in April. I enjoy a night out at a nice restaurant with a few cocktails, going to a drag show, looking forward to our next holiday or a long walk in nature – especially on the beach at Saltburn!

I decided to become an Assist Friend because I know how daunting it can sometimes be going to a networking event alone! In the past year I have started regularly attending networking events and still sometimes feel nervous walking into the room and hoping there will be somebody I can speak to. Networking is great for broadening your connections and the Assist meetings in particular are the ones I enjoy the most, it’s always a bunch of lovely ladies who love a natter and I will be happy to accompany anybody who might need a friend to go along with.
