I am a Chartered Financial Planner based at Active Chartered Financial Planners, a firm of experienced IFAs helping Private Individuals, Businesses and Professional Practices.

20 + years experience as a Financial Adviser offering advice in all areas of financial planning (protection planning, retirement planning, investment planning and inheritance tax planning)

In 2018 I gained Fellowship status from the PFS the highest qualification awarded by the CII.

Shortlisted – Women in Financial Advice Awards 2018 ‘Financial Adviser (North of England)’.  

Runner up – ‘Breaking the Mould’ Tees Businesswoman Awards 2018

Won – Outstanding Achievement award at the Yorkshire Financial Awards 2019

I’m also Ambassador for Insuring Women’s Futures a programme established by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in collaboration with leading insurance professionals, businesses, policy and third sector organisations and experts on issues relating to women’s financial risk. As an ambassador, I am working hard to improve women’s pension outcomes as sadly many British women in retirement are facing poverty due to many perils and pitfalls they face in life that impact on their accumulation of pension provision independently.  

I’m honoured to be a host for Darlington Assist Ladies Network.   Being already well connected in the Teesside Area, I’m hoping to widen my network to Darlington, my home town.  Having networked for some time what I recognise is that women support women.  Darlington Assist Network is a space for ladies to connect, build friendships with the hope to collaborate and grow together.  I am excited to meet professional and business ladies from the Darlington area and watch the network grow.
