Kelly, from Thirsk, works as a Digital Technician at Teesside University and also works freelance as a Graphic Artist.

She joined Assist in 2023 as a Graphic Design and Content Creator volunteer. 

“I joined Assist so that I could help local business and professional women. I want to raise awareness of women in the work place and use my skills as a graphic artist to campaign for equality and visibility of local women. I want to actively contribute to a better working life for when my daughter is old enough to work. I wanted to advocate that women with a learning disabilities can do anything with the right help and support.”

In her spare time Kelly enjoys walking, baking, being in her print room and spending time with her family and friends.
