Hi, my name is Julie.  I am a recently retired Personal Assistant, having worked for 40+ years for various global organisations across the Tees Valley region.

I attended my first ‘Just Networking’ event a couple of months ago, immediately I could feel the energy in the room and over a cup of tea soon felt comfortable chatting away and realised how since leaving the workplace I had missed this kind of interaction with other professional like-minded women.

Since retirement I have secured a part-time job, just one day a week, still leaving me time to be involved in other projects.  I am excited to be offered the opportunity of working with Assist Women’s Network supporting the Walk and Talk events.  

I live in Seaton Carew, I love living by the sea and enjoy regular walks along the promenade.  I’m at my happiest pottering in the garden and spending time with my family and friends.
