Hi, my name is Donna Walker, I’m a business owner a fundraising coordinator for a local charity and a mum of two plus a crazy Cocker Spaniel.

I started my own business after completely re assessing where I was in my life and where I wanted to be through lockdown. My plan was to create a lifestyle that allowed me to work in areas I was passionate about but that also allowed me to work around my family. Now, I deliver sustainability training and accredited carbon literacy training to local businesses as well as organising events and fundraisers for a local charity.

I’m delighted to be asked to join the Assist women’s network as Assist Friends Lead as I understand the importance of networking and making the right connections but also know how terrifying it can feel when you first start. Although let me reassure you that the Assist events and the ladies that attend are the most supportive people you can meet.
