Our hosts can’t wait to welcome you.
This one is totally relaxed, no formalities, no business card pushing, just good business conversation. We naturally share ideas, experience and vision that could lead to potential growth for you or your business. Women actively share positive solid business contacts,Tees Valley is not a big place! Assist champion’s the idea Women Support Women #WSW, yes we breath, work, eat, sleep, repeat this!
Why come along…
Our informal morning gatherings are a chance to take time away from the isolation of homeworking. You will meet other businesswomen to talk business, you may be looking for new contracts or have a product or service that you want to showcase. We like to encourage the ‘trade local’ ideology. We are big on collaboration and between women it can work well.
Why not use this time to arrange and network with someone you have not seen for a while. Get in to a routine and come together (separately in zoom!) for your 2021 networking each month. You will have time to chat with others in the breakout rooms and collect your thoughts on a particular topic and share ideas with like-minded women.
What to expect…
We want to hear about you, your business and what you offer.
We allow a little time for quick introductions, therefore if you come later you may miss these, but don’t worry we have time to meet in the breakout rooms, giving you the opportunity to meet in smaller groups.
Are you launching a new service, looking for new customers, got a event to promote or want to share with us some new ingredients in your handmade products? Come tell us about it we genuinely want to know and are keen to help share your news.
When…
An hour online on a morning once a month, we are simply creating a space for you to informally meet other businesswomen on a regular basis or as a one-off.
Cost to you…
We don’t charge for this form of networking like other organisations, bring your own drink! We will be waiting to meet you along with other local vibrant businesswomen that may drop in. Business cards a thing of the past! People buy people!

Remember “Women Supporting Women” #WSW #AssistHER
Since joining Assist I have been invited to events including Hidden Women of Teesside, where I had the chance to network with local business women and build contacts. I felt very welcomed and part of something supportive of where I'm at today and what I'm trying to achieve. I now have an experienced mentor for the next year to help me focus and build my dreams. Lastly I was invited to the Assist Christmas meal which was amazing as being self-employed and a small grassroots organisation, it can get lonely so I was grateful for the opportunity to connect with other women feeling the same way and trying to achieve great things.

Assist is a great place to meet, connect and collaborate with businesswomen from across the Tees Valley. It's welcoming and informal atmosphere for networking, combined with the diverse range of business topics it addresses on behalf of its members is both interesting and informative. This winning combination means i learn something new each time i attend and its why i keep coming back.

Having struggled for a while to find a womens network in Teesside, i stumbled across of the Assist events by chance. How happy i am that i did. Ann and the team make the networking fun and relevant, informative and comfortable. I've made several really good business connections, but mostly i've met some great women who i know i could turn to for advice, or even just to meet for a coffee. We all face the same issues within business and personally and the Assist meet's allow collaboration, suggestion, support and smiles. Thank you Assist x
